Automotive Engineering

Motorization is the domain of mechanics. Its history goes back nearly 200 years ago when Mr. Nicolas Carnot formulated the theory of the heat engine. The first combustion engine was built on the basis of this theory and later on it was also used for developing automotive drive systems. Nowadays it is believed that the future belongs to the hybrid vehicles and thus the traditional Faculty of Mechanics exists only in its name. Apart from professional mechanical knowledge a contemporary, modern mechanical engineer must be an expert on electronics, materials technology, automatics, robotics, computer science as well as organizing and management techniques. And this is where we are going in our educational goals in our Faculty.

I am kindly inviting and recommending studying at our modern, future-oriented Faculty of Mechanics at Wrocaw University of Technology . We offer new 3-semestre Master of Science studying program in the field of Automative Engineering. The program is based on the latest methods, technologies and working tools for a mechanical engineer.

Our Faculty has been respected as among the top Mechanical Engineering Faculties in Poland for many years.

We have been assigned to the highest 1st category by The Science Council Committee in the Ministry of Science and Academic Education. When studying here you will be able to benefit from our academic staff’s vast professional knowledge. Having graduated from our Faculty you will join the leading elite whose ambition is to develop technical civilization in the field of automotive engineering. Once qualified, mechanical engineers with fluency in English are among the most sought-after, and highly paid, professionals both in business and academic staff.
